🗓️ Day 1 – Arrival in Moshi / Arusha

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) and meet your mountain guide. Transfer to your hotel for climb briefing and gear check before your adventure begins.

After breakfast, drive to Lemosho Gate for registration. Begin trekking through lush rainforest inhabited by blue monkeys and exotic birds until reaching Mti Mkubwa (“Big Tree”) Camp.

Hike through the forest and emerge onto the vast Shira Plateau, offering stunning views of Kibo Peak.

Continue across the Shira Plateau with gentle ascents and expansive views. This day helps your body acclimatize to higher altitudes.
